Mindy Morasha is a Jewish journalist and abstract artist based in the hills of northern Israel. As a returnee to Torah Judaism, she uses her evolving spirituality and understanding of religion to fuel her creative expression.

Elements and items from Jewish religious life are included in her paintings, including Shabbat and Havdalah candles and kiddush cups, as well as Hebrew letters.

For more than two decades, she has devoted her life to mental health and spiritual growth, including studying Torah and kabbalah with rabbis and rebbetzins in the U.S. and Israel, as well as utilizing techniques such as, CBT, EMDR and energy healing.

Mindy Morasha’s great-grandparents escaped the pogroms and persecution of Eastern Europe, and she was born and raised in Seminole, Florida, before moving to various cities in the U.S., including Washington D.C., Atlanta and Miami.

She fulfilled her lifelong dream to make Aliyah, returning with her children to their homeland in 2022. They now live in the lower Galilee of Eretz Yisrael, overlooking Mount Carmel and holy Bet She’arim Forest, 20 minutes from Haifa and the Mediterranean Sea.
